Today the 3rd and 4th graders are taking their Math TAKS test.  We will remain extra quiet in the hallways and the classroom. 

Our Math scores will be back soon.  I sure hope you did your best.  Don’t forget to study for the science test on Thursday.  We are hoping to have 80% pass this test so we can see Elvis, green mohawks, pig-kissing, etc.

Reading — pp. 113-116

Spelling — pronunciation and syllables

English — nouns

Math — pre-algebra work

Science — whole group quizzes

Are  you working on this week’s probe topic? (A career)

This is TAKS week.  We will be taking the Science TAKS test on Thursday.  Be sure to eat a healthy breakfast that day.  There will be NO special breakfast at school, just the regular cafeteria fare.

Reading and Social Studies — finalize introduction to radio play.  Print and practice scenes and seques.

Spelling — Unit 27 words — easel, strategy, gatling, castanets, percolate, wiseacre, agnostic, kremlin, seltzer, origami, carnivore, waitress, pueblo, awful, spectrum, captain, manicure, hustle, trawl, naughty

Alphabetize the above words and write a definition for each one.

English — noun work

Math — pre-algebra work

Whole group science in the afternoon
